Author Information

Anna Brooke began her love affair with France on a camping trip in Brittany aged 13. After studying French and European Studies at university, she moved to Paris in 2000 and has spent the last 8 years as a freelance travel writer for a variety of publications (Time Out, Financial Times, Alastair Sawdays, Dorling & Kindersley) and Frommer's, for whom she also wrote the Day by Day guide to Provence and the Riviera, the MTV Guide to France and updated the Day by Day guide to Paris. When she is not travel writing, she sings in an electro band called Monkey Anna (www.myspace.com/annaebrooke) and is an actress (three years performing in a cabaret, films, music videos and ads).
