OverviewThis research investigates the universe of 'networks' until reaching the process of implementation and operation of REASul, problematising it, since it proposes different forms of organisation and interaction, based on democracy, cooperativism and the emancipation of its participants. To this end, its construction and development process was verified through documentary analysis and, in order to complement and expand this information, an analysis was sought of how this network interacts with its members. Through the sample taken, this study set out to verify how REASul operates, ascertaining whether it manages to establish itself as a social network along the lines of what it proposes, identifying its potential and limitations. The results demonstrated how much progress still needs to be made within environmental education networks, in addition to presenting subsidies that may help REASul move forward, aiming to improve its performance; seeking greater rapprochement with its members; taking into account the needs and desires of educators in the southern region; thinking about and implementing more consistent and transformative environmental education; and moving towards its actual implementation.
