Overview

In this narrative, Klaus tells his story of transformation as Geo, from a young man at loose ends to a contented married man pursuing his artistic talents. Growing up in Coos Bay, Oregon, Klaus found success in his youth as an athlete, especially on the Marshfield High School wrestling team. The transition from his youth to a satisfying adult life took him down a long and sometimes difficult path. Dealing with undiagnosed bi-polar issues didn't help. He followed in his father's footsteps as a longshoreman and, with their support, he conquered his demons and realized what was important in life for him. His story is one that gives hope to those who may be facing their own demons now.
