Overview

"Marriage is the first institution God ordained and this makes Him the Head of every union. He blessed the union and said ""be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth"" (Genesis 1:28). What would you do when: 1) you get married and don't have children? 2) you belong to a society where children are seen as the ultimate reason for marriage and the crown of the woman? Initially, you keep your cool, hoping and believing that the situation will soon change. But as time passes, you begin to panic, despair, get discouraged with a feeling of worthlessness. The people around you look at you with disdain and make you feel that barrenness is a plague, a curse and apparently transcend to doom. This was the situation I found myself for 19 years. Believe me, the years were long and difficult but through the years of waiting, the Grace and the Word of God sustained us. My husband was a solid pillar beside me. When I thought it was all over, God showed up and blessed us with Faith Osadebamwen Omosigho. The sorrows, pain, humiliation, heartache and shame all melted away when I held my precious jewel in my hand. This is the story of my life and I write to let you know the awesomeness of God. My advice to you is - please be patient and wait for God's timing. He is never too late. His timing is always perfect. He has the final say in every situation, and the victory that is sought for desperately is found in Jesus."
