Author Information

Géraud Laval is a trained veterinarian and shrimp farmer. A pioneer in mainland France in the breeding of M. rosenbergii, he first worked in research (within CIRAD), then as a veterinary public health inspector in health regulations (Ministry of Agriculture), before dedicating himself, in partnership with Oniris-INRAE, to the development of an ethical and responsible freshwater shrimp farming sector.
