Table of ContentsReviews"Praise for Chip Colquhoun: ""Have been reading this at bedtime to a 9 year old and a 6 year old and they are both loving it, and I am too! Very engaging and accessible."" - ""Kindle Customer"" of Cambridgeshire Folk Tales for Children ""Fantastic book, aimed at children but suitable for all ages!"" - ""Amazon Customer"" of Cambridgeshire Folk Tales for Children ""Great for engaging the children. Even the children who usually don't listen as carefully as some of the others were just totally involved in it. It appeals to lots of different children's interests."" - Sarah, teacher of children aged 9-11 at Jeavons Wood Primary School ""I was particularly impressed, because some of my children are quite young, and some of the stories are quite long, but despite that they were really engaged in them. I think it was a combination of how it was written, and the themes in the stories."" - Helen, teacher of children aged 4-6 at Whaddon CE School Praise for Korky Paul: ""Vivid and wondrous"" - The Sunday Times ""Delightfully entertaining"" - Books for Keeps ""The pictures, as ever, bristle with an inspired lunacy that 5+ love."" - Amanda Craig, The Times" Author InformationChip Colquhoun began storytelling professionally in 2007 alongside Amy Robinson. He lives in the former residence of Samuel Pepys, England's most famous diariest, up in Cambridgeshire with his wife Emma and kitten Tito. Amy Scott Robinson began storytelling professionally in 2007, and was soon presenting Traditional Tales for the Oxford Reading Tree online. She creates scripts and resources for a variety of church organisations and publishers, and has written the Gladstone the Gargoyle trilogy as well as The Adventuring Girls series. When she's not writing, storytelling, or ventriloquising, she's enjoying time with her husband Tiffer and their two children in Suffolk. Korky Paul began his career scribbling for an advertising agency in Cape Town. His first illustration job was a book teaching English, then a pop-up called The Crocodile and the Dumper Truck - but it was his work on Winnie the Witch that won the Children's Book Award in 1987 and made him a much-loved figure in the world of children's books. He's since illustrated for Oxford University Press, Penguin, Random House, and others. He lives in Oxford with his wife Susan. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
