Jones came up with the group's name as he, Ian and Dennis Elliott were British, while Lou, Al Greenwood and Ed Gagliardi were American. Their biggest hit single, I Want to Know What Love Is, topped the UK and US charts among others, while Waiting for a Girl Like You, made US # 2 for a record-setting 10 weeks.
