He received his Ph.D. in Economic Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina/Brazil and has served as a professor at Halmstad University in Sweden. Currently is Research Scholar at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Invetsment/ University of Columba/ New York.
