Overview

Three distinct voices. One shared truth: nothing stays buried forever. In this gripping collection of nine literary suspense stories, three women writers explore the fragile boundary between ordinary life and the darkness that lurks just beneath it. Taut, lyrical, and quietly unsettling, For Every Evil Under The Sun is a testament to how women carry grief, danger, and desire-and what happens when those forces break through. From a crumbling childhood home and a silent beach stalked by an unseen presence, to a dusty Texas ranch soaked in blood and betrayal-each tale peels back the surface of ordinary lives to reveal the darkness pulsing underneath. A Vegas showgirl with one last score. A dream shattered in a city of stars. Two women lost in a maze of suburban perfection. A family secret buried beneath generations of silence. Together, these authors weave a tapestry of suspense that spans continents and generations, proving that no matter where you are or who you are, the darkest corners of the human experience are never far away. They ask: What do we do when the past won't stay dead? When safety is just an illusion? And what happens when women step out of the roles the world has written for them? Lyrical, bold, and deeply atmospheric, For Every Evil Under The Sun lingers long after the final page.
