David Bedford was born in devon, in the south-west of England in 1969. David wasn’t always a writer. Frist he was a football player. He played for two teams: Appleton FC and Sankey Rangers. Although there weren’t the worst teams in the league, they never won anything! After school, David Went to University and became a scientist. His first job was in America, where he worked on discovering new antibiotics. David has always loved to read and decided to start writing himself. After a while, he left his job as a scientist and began writing full-time. His novel and picture books have been translated into many languages around the world. David lives with his wife and two children in Norfolk, England.
