Reviews

Flock of Cranes is an adorable story of two children using their telescopes to find the different types of cranes there are at the zoo, only to find that they are looking at two different types of cranes. The illustrations found in these pages are gorgeous! When the story shows the different plumages and characteristics of cranes, I was blown away! The colors pop off of the pages. When you compare them to photos of actual cranes they are so similar! I would recommend this to any child interested in animals, or construction. I would recommend this to any child who loves to learn about different birds! And I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little giggle. At the end of the story, the book provides a few facts about cranes that I found to be very interesting. There are also instructions found to fold your own origami paper crane! They were very easy to follow! I loved reading this and hope you will too. It is a cute storyline that made me smile and giggle. It would be a vey easy misunderstanding for curious children to make. I loved this. Thank you, Kelley Likes and Ninnani sharing your words and art with the world. It was incredible. I would love to see more in the future. -eBookFairs Flock of Cranes by Kelley Likes is a fascinating and action-packed book for children. This fictional account describes the exciting day that two kids had. They go sightseeing in a zoo, and with a telescope, they identify different types of cranes according to their shapes, the color of their crown and neck, head, and size. I was fascinated with how the author compared and differentiated between animal and machine cranes. This book has educational value because it establishes the foundation for young children's learning about shapes, differentiating colors, and taking an original perspective on objects. This book not only sets that foundation but also enables kids within the age range of 2-7 years of age to make choices based on what they perceive and this book accomplishes that. I rate this book 5 over 5 stars because it highlights the essentials for a child's development phase and contributes to their perceptions about their environment and what could be obtainable. I appreciate the author for including fun and creative tasks in the book to enable children to manipulate shapes and structures with the help of the guide in the book. From my assessment, this confers that education goes beyond a conventional classroom. Knowledge is versatile, and I am an advocate for that. I recommend this book to children with curious minds. -eBookFairs
