Author Information

Ted Botha was born in New York and grew up in Pretoria. He worked as a journalist before going travelling through Africa, which resulted in the book Apartheid In My Rucksack. He lives in New York, where he is an editor for Reuters. His other books, published in the US, include The Expat Confessions, about South African emigrants, as well as Mongo: Adventures in Trash, The Girl With The Crooked Nose, and a novel, The Animal Lover.
