Overview

This document represents the proceedings of the FAO workshop on Best practice in responding to emergencies in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors , held from 15 to 16 March 2012 in Rome, Italy. The workshop is a part of a process to develop fisheries and aquaculture emergency response guidance which also contributes to FAO's new strategic objective on building livelihoods resilient to threats and crises.
