Drew Pittman is a friend, a colleague and a confidant. But it didn't start off that way. I was a scout when we met, and not very trusting of NFL agents. I quickly found Drew to be honest and of high character. I have seen how he handles himself with NFL teams, including mine, and how he handles himself with his family. Because of what I have seen, I believe Drew can offer you insight into leading your family and creating a healthier, happier home life. I trust Drew's advice, and I enjoyed the inside-the-NFL stories and their applications to everyday life.Jeff Ireland, Former General Manager, Miami Dolphins Men need tools to be the husband and father they want to be. Many men did not have this modeled for them in their homes as children, so they are starting off at a disadvantage--I see it in our church all the time. These men are not prepared to take on the role of husband and father and be the leader God has called them to be. Most husbands, dads or sons wants to grow and change, but they don't know where to start. In First Team Dad Drew, Pittman gives thirty solutions to help men have better marriages, happier families and healthier homes. I believe this book will help move men from vulnerability, to stability, to living in vitality!Rob Ketterling, Lead Pastor, River Valley Church, Apple Valley, Minnesota I met Drew Pittman a decade ago when he was helping a client navigate a very difficult personal issue. I observed as he offered guidance and support beyond what the demands of a business relationship would entail. His steadfast faith and commitment to caring for both the person and the professional left an indelible impression on me. Drew proves that being a respected, ethical and quality NFL agent is not an oxymoron. I believe Drew has a voice to which others should pay attention.Andrea Kremer, Emmy-winning Television Journalist and Chief Correspondent, NFL Network I have known Drew for nearly 15 years. He has a true passio

As a collegiate football coach and executive director of the American Football Coaches Association, I have long held a strong belief that coaches become surrogate fathers to many of their players. However, a coach's roles as father and husband in his home are his first responsibilities. Drew Pittman's book, First Team Dad, is not only a great resource for coaches and teachers, but also for fathers out there who are striving to become positive leaders in their home.Grant Teaff, Executive Director, American Football Coaches Association; Former Head Football Coach, Baylor University Bears College Football Hall of Fame, 2001 As coaches we often have a responsibility to become surrogate fathers and role models for some of our players. As important as that is, our essential role is to be a father to our own children and a husband to our wife. First Team Dad recommends 30 methods to help men better their marriages and to become a first team dad for their children.David Cutcliffe, Head Football Coach, Duke University Blue Devils The heart of each of the 30 chapters of First Team Dad is based on the sound, solid principles of coaching a team to achieve success. Coaching our family teams to success is not only our responsibility, but also our duty as leaders in our homes.Scott Drew, Head Men's Basketball Coach, Baylor University Bears; Austin American Statesman's Coach of the Year Award, 2010 As a pastor, I have always loved seeing men take a strong, active role in the health and direction of their families. The most successful families have a man operating as an involved leader. This motivating book by Drew Pittman identifies 30 life principles that any man can adopt to influence those closest to him, and gives a practical game plan at the end of each chapter. Way to go, Drew, for giving men an amazing resource full of great sports analogies! You nailed it!Rick Bezet, Lead Pastor, New Life Church of ArkansasFirst Team Dad is a must-read for any man who wants to improve as a
