Tracy Smith is a debut author and historian at heart. She loves learning about different cultures and places. She has a master's degree in teaching from Western Governors University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Brigham Young University-Hawaii. She has spent several years teaching in the classroom and online. Tracy loves stories of ordinary people who face extraordinary circumstances and rise to the occasion. She and her husband have three children, two dogs, and about fourteen chickens. Her favorite pastimes include spending time with her family, playing games, hiking, traveling, kayaking, reading, playing at the beach or on the guitar, and visiting friends and family.
