Overview

After the assassination of Talia's mother, her father sends her to the human world with the Captain of the Guard to protect her. Not sure his dark heart is even capable of the emotion. Despite his fears they grow together in an unlikely way. This book is filled will romance, friendship, unlikely family, and a cat who isn't as he appears.
