John Della Volpe is the director of polling at the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics, where he has led the institute's polling initiatives on understanding American youth since 2000. The Washington Post referred to John as one of the world's leading authorities on global sentiment, opinion, and influence, especially among millennials and in the age of digital and social media. John appears regularly on MSNBC's Morning Joe and his insights on the millennial generation are found in national media outlets in the U.S. and abroad, including the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. David Hogg, of the class of 2018, and Lauren Hogg, class of 2021, attend Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. David is a Teenlink reporter for the Sun Sentinel. Jamie Renell originally hails from New England and is a rabid Red Sox fan. After graduating high school, he moved to Tallahassee, Florida, and attended Florida State University, where he received his BFA in acting. Upon graduating, Jamie moved to Atlanta to pursue his acting career in the burgeoning film community there. He has been involved in films, TV, and voice-over for more than ten years, and has credits that run the gamut, including Prison Break, Homeland, Jumanji, and Pitch Perfect, not to mention voicing nearly 200 audiobooks! He is the father to four wonderful, amazing children and husband to the most incredible woman in the world.
