Author Information

Woodcock worked the ""trap line"" for more than a half-century, and was a faithful contributor to Hunter, Trader, and Trapper magazine for a decade. In his later years Woodcock became an advocate for more stringent hunting and trapping laws, and believed conservation was the answer to the declining population of all game animals. In his more than fifty years, Woodcock never hunted illegally or out of season.
