"Female Firebrands tells the stories of thirteen successful professional women, the challenges they've faced and how they overcame them. Mikaela Kiner is a native Seattleite who spent fifteen years in HR leadership roles at local companies including Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon, PopCap Games and Reditt. In 2015 she founded uniquelyHR, providing no nonsense HR for start-ups. Mikaela serves on the boards of Businesses Ending Slavery and Trafficking (BEST). She's passionate about Seattle start-ups, inclusive culture, and coaching high potential leaders. Mikaela is the author of an upcoming book about Female Firebrands, which will be released in 2019.
