Faucett and a group of Peruvian business men joined together to found the first commercial airline in Peru and one of the first in Latin America. The company was authorized to operate on June 4, 1928 and it commenced operations on September 15, 1928. Initially, flights were made from Lima to Talara to the north, and Arequipa to the south with Stinson Detroiter F-19 aircraft.
