Author Information

Richard Moore-Colyer was until recently Professor of Agrarian History at the University of Wales. A native of Northamptonshire and from an established farming family, he has published extensively on the agrarian, economic and cultural history of England and Wales in the 19th and 20th centuries. He is currently Emeritus Professor in the Department of History and Welsh History at Aberystwyth University.
