I am again privileged to review the last, Farewell Valhalla. The thrilling saga of Erika Lehmann comes to an end where it all started. What a ride it's been! Whicker's thirteen novels in Erika's story is a masterpiece twenty-five years in the making. We've seen so many series where each book closely resembles the others. Not with Whicker--no cookie cutter plots here. Each story in the Erika Lehmann series is unique and took us on a different thrill ride. Throughout, Whicker used cliffhangers and twists and turns to always keep us on our toes with characters he forced us to care about even if they were not always admirable. There was not one weak story in the bunch. All thirteen books kept us turning pages and staying up late. If you love spy thrillers, or thrillers in general, and are just starting this series, I envy you. You have much to look forward to.
