I am He that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for evermore. He is the same who, in Compassion for the fallen and guilty race of men, left the glory which He had with the Fa ther before the world was, took upon Him our nature, tabernacled in the flesh, and experienced all of man's infirmity - the power of temptation, the weight of sor row, the burden of anguish, and the outflow of tears.
