He is the Director of the master’s degree programme in International Relations. His research examines the UAE's foreign policy, diplomacy and international cooperation. Kristian Alexander is a Senior Fellow at TRENDS Research & Advisory in Abu Dhabi (UAE), where he is the Director of the International Security & Terrorism Program, and an adviser at Gulf State Analytics, a geopolitical risk consultancy based on Washington, DC, USA. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.
