As usual, the illustrations are colorful and engaging for kids and adults alike. Each letter has several words that start with that letter and are found in the garden. I love the layers of learning in this book. Not only can you teach your children about the letters of the alphabet, but also the various sounds each letter makes, things you find in a garden, and expand new your child's vocabulary with words like arbor and hibiscus. Oh, and let's not forget that this is a wonderful first seek-and-find book, as it asks children to find each item that the Little Rose sees.
