He holds a Bachelors' Degree, two Masters' Degrees and a Doctorate including many years on his own field research correlating coal measures in parts of Australia. His interest in Geology has taken him to many parts of the world, including Eastern Antarctica, the Andes, the European and New Zealand Alps, North Africa, Indonesia and many other places in Asia and the Pacific.
