I write under the name The Unknown Penman for security and/or safety concerns regarding my family, friends & myself. Although everything I write is 100% true personal experiences, those that played pivotal roles in the events laid out in the book(s) (none of whom are ever named) all still live in the same area that I do. The possibility for harassment and/or worse is to great to take the risk of writing under my real name. I apologize to my readers & hope that everyone understands. I would like to share with you somethings about myself, if I may. Growing up as an only child, I was very shy & never really learned how to make friends. I instead found my friends in technology, specifically computers. Consequently, I never went on dates, nor did I attend my junior or senior proms. Now that I am older, I of course regret being a loner. I was told I would never get a decent job, unless I went to college. That was a problem for me, because I didn't enjoy the first 12 years of mandatory school. I failed to see the logic of paying too go back for at least four more years of it. I not only managed to get the job that everyone said I couldn't, without a college degree 3 months after graduating high school, I spent the next 14 years in the field. However, now that I am much older & possibly a tad wiser, I honestly do regret not attending college. I highly encourage all too do so if possible, as education is power over your destiny. If you have had the opportunity to read my first book Every Divorce Began with Marriage than you know I did eventually get married. However, the thirteen years of that relationship (of which 9 where marriage) where so nightmarish, most people are left in shock when they learn of the things I endured as well as the things those close too me were capable of. It's those unreal & immensely painful experiences that prompted me to start writing. Although these are experiences that happened to me, it is my hope that by sharing these experiences with others, I may be able to help someone else avoid the same issues. Honestly, if just one person was helped by something I have written, then all I have endured will have been worth it. I have several more books that I plan to write. Just like Every Divorce Began with Marriage , they are all 100% true real life experiences & again my continued hope that others may be helped by something I write.
