Madison Smith (born May 15th, 1975) is an American chef, restaurateur, activist and author. She is the owner of The Green Plate, a restaurant in San Francisco, California, famous for its organic and locally grown ingredients.After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in education, she enrolled at the Institute of Culinary in New York.She began cooking professionally in 2000, after earning a degree in Education. His dedication to the use of organic ingredients is central to the operation and philosophy of The Green Plate. Smith has become an advocate for organic foods, believing them to be better for the environment and people's health, as well as tasting superior to commercially grown non-organic foods.In 2007, Madison began dating Journalist Jhon Walsh.
