Author Information

David was born and raised in Macon, Georgia and joined the United States Air Force in 1979 serving as a Military Intelligence Non-Commissioned Officer until he was honorably discharged in 1983. He attended Toccoa Falls College in North Georgia earning a Bachelor's degree in Bible and Theology in 1987. He attended Denver Seminary in Colorado earning a Master's Degree in Counseling in 1990. David retired from public service in 2015 after serving 24 years as an Individual and Family Therapist, Social Worker, Social Work Supervisor and Foster Care Expert. He is the proud father of two adult children, Sarah and Luke. David and his wife, Lorrie, have traveled several times to Africa as ministers of the gospel of Christ. David currently spends his time writing, speaking, mentoring, teaching and with his family in Littleton, Colorado.
