Author Information

Oluwole Olumide Durodolu is a Research Fellow of the Department of Information Science at the University of South Africa. He holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of Zululand in South Africa in 2016. A Certified Librarian of Nigeria and a member of the Association for Southern African Indexers and Bibliographers. Member Editorial Board, Maadili: Journal of African School of Governance and Policy Studies, South Africa, Covenant Journal of Library and Information Science and Member Editorial Board, Lagos Journal of Library and Information Science. He has published articles in local and international journals on information literacy, ICT4D, informetric, information communication technology, and more. Ngoako Solomon Marutha, from remote rural village known as Ga-Sekgopo (Phukubjeni) in Limpopo Province of South Africa, is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Information Science at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Prof Marutha serves in different university committees, including being a chairperson for Research and Innovation Committee. He also serves as a representative for UNISA department of Information Science in the International Council of Archives (ICA). He is a member of the South African Society of Archivists and serve in the National Executive committee. He is an editor for the Journal of the South African Society of Archivists. He is a Review Editor for Frontiers in Research Metrics and analytics journal. He presented several conference papers and published more articles. Prof Marutha also serve as external examiner for several universities in South Africa and also review articles for publication for several national and international journals. His research interest includes knowledge, archives and records management, especially on patients and hospital records, electronic records, cloud computing, Blockchain technology, enterprise content management, big data management and police case records security. The other field of his interest includes; library management and marketing as well as Open Distance electronic learning (ODeL). His professional industry background includes working as an information and records manager at Voortrekker hospital, South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), St. Rita's Hospital and Limpopo Provincial Department of Health. He also worked for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Palmer Development Group (PDG), and Vaal University of technology (VUT), Monash University and Limpopo Department of Sports, Arts and Culture as a Librarian. He holds Bachelor of Information studies and Bachelor of Information Studies honour from University of the North (UNIN)-now known as University of Limpopo (UL), Master of Information Science and Doctor of literature and philosophy from University of South Africa (UNISA).
