Overview

Why would a man who has everything in life; a loving family, a successful career, and plenty of wealth; put a gun to his head to end it all? Ethan Park focused his entire life on reaching all his goals. He said what he would do, and he did it--just as his grandfather, Grandy, had taught him. The special bond Ethan had with his grandfather helped him stay true to a pathway that led to success. But it is this special bond that may bring Ethan's life to a tragic end. Here is the story of a powerful commitment and the complex decisions and emotions that familial love cause to surface. Journey with Ethan as he chooses a path too straight and too narrow.

Author Information

Peter Parrie grew up along the shores of Lake Ponchartrain, in Louisiana. His extended family hails from southwestern Louisiana and Barcelona, Spain. A 30-year career in broadcasting provided Peter with opportunities to travel throughout the U.S. and abroad. He was immersed in a multitude of cultures, from the U.S., Europe, Asia and Central America. During these sojourns, he amassed story ideas, plot lines and anecdotes for use in his novels. Peter was raised in a culture of family-owned businesses; from restaurants to auto-repair shops, and technology-based companies to art galleries. At an early age he watched and learned as family-built businesses through hard work, perseverance, and the relationships they developed with their employees and customers. When he is not writing, Peter spends time on the golf course, riding motorcycles with his life-long friends, and traveling the U.S. exploring the various cultures, traditions, and people.
