OverviewEscape from hell is the story of a teenage boy who has been cruelly and systematically belted by his father for little or no reason. He decides to leave home on his ancient bicycle towing a homemade trailer containing all his worldly belongings. He leaves home in the middle of the night and rides a few miles before the pain from his still bleeding belt wounds force him to rest. He has no safe haven to go to and distance is going to be his only ally. He's resting in the rear parking area of a 24 hr. roadhouse in pouring rain when a sudden impulse shows him a method of escape. He takes the plunge and arrives at another 24 hr. roadhouse over 200 miles away where he begins to make a new home for himself using the cooking skills taught by his mother and farming skills learned from his brutal father. He was used to working long hard hours in the harvest elds beside his father and he was astute enough to capitalize on the skills learned along the way. He made himself useful as a kitchen hand in the cafe.
