Author Information

Daniela Bombara is interested in 19th and early 20th century Italian literature, women’s literature, and in the relationship between literary and musical forms. She has published in international journals and with prestigious associations: California Italian Studies Journal, Forum Italicum, Cornell Institute for European Studies, Sociedad Española de Italianistas, Pirandello’s Society of America. Ellen Patat is presently employed at the University of Istanbul. Her research focuses on travel literature and contemporary literature, both in Italian and in English, with particular attention to the relationship between identity formation and spatial dimension. Other areas of interest are translation studies and foreign language teaching. She has published on national as well as international journals.
