Author Information

Eddie j.Martin, Born: March 17,1941, Mc Viegh, Kty. Moved to Detroit, Mich. about 1948, enlisted in the US Air Force in 1955 at the age of 14. Married at 15,2nd marrage 1967. Retired from the military 1975 after tours to Korea, Germany and Viet Nam.Oil Refinry worker, Security Guard, ect. Do memoirs always have to be told from the beginning? I dont think so, I'm starting my own where the thought first hit me, where I'm just sitting around thinking about the past. Suddenly I smile, I find myself in Korea, Germany or Amsterdam...that time. i thought this time I'd let the stories fall where they may; that's WHY i choose not to write in any particular chronological order.Sometimes its just better like that.Memoirs of my own came to me not as they happenend but as i remembered them. The last story sometimes as the first; and the first sometimes as the last.As the saying goes; you sometimes save the best for last, or first in my case. Sincerely, EDDIE MARTIN T.Sgt.(Ret.)USAF
