Author Information

Professor Purnendu Ghosh, an alumni of HBTI Kanpur and IIT Delhi, was Professor at IIT Delhi, and is currently the Executive Director of Birla Institute of Scientific Research Jaipur. He has also worked, as visiting scientist, at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich Switzerland, National Research Centre for Biotechnology Braunschweig Germany, and University of Melbourne Australia. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), and is currently its Vice President. He was the Founder President of Biological Engineering Society, and the Founding Editor-in-chief of INAE Letters, A Springer-Nature Engineering Publication. Professor Ghosh writes in English, Hindi, and Bengali. He has written books in different genres.
