Born in the Netherlands, he absorbed the legacy of 17th-century Dutch masters before studying at the Royal Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. His vibrant work has dazzled audiences in museums across the US and Europe, until his journey led him to Hollywood contributing as a storyboard artist, illustrator for the History Channel and A&E, and exhibition designer for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. As the great-grandnephew of Universal Studios founder Carl Laemmle, Deni also shared his passion as a teacher at the Art Center College of Design for 23 years.
