Minisc Premier has spent his entire life in the shadow of a legend. His father-the Hero of Light-is the most celebrated Elementalist in history, a symbol of victory and power revered by millions. But where others see glory, Minisc feels only pressure. He wants no part in his father's legacy. Instead, he clings to his late mother's final wish: a future of unity and peace between humans and Elementalists-the newly evolved beings capable of wielding elemental forces like light, fire, and water. After an intense battle with the Luminosa Leader, Dusk, and his fame at an all-time high, the Hero of Light is invited to the city of Vancouver to host the Parade of Elements. Knowing his son could use some rest and relaxation, he takes his son, Minisc, along with Lily and Jules on the trip with him. However, the vacation doesn't turn out to be as relaxing as they all hoped, thanks to a rising new group known as The Faction. Soon, Minisc and his friends find themselves wrapped up in a new plot, one that could strain Human and Elementalists relations forever.
