"Margie se desempe�� durante 25 a�os como especialista en desarrollo en la primera infancia. Fue profesora de prekinder y trabaj� con muchos ni�os, de edades desde kindergarten hasta los 12 a�os. Un d�a, estaba ley�ndoles un cuento a los ni�os y se dio cuenta de que hab�a muchos casos de acoso y de burlas mutuas. Mientras pensaba en c�mo pod�a ponerle un alto al acoso y a las burlas, se le ocurri� una historia. Le cont� esta historia a los ni�os, para ayudarlos a comprender lo dolorosos que resultan el acoso y las burlas. Margie se fue a casa y plasm� la historia en papel, �y termin� por convertirse en este libro! Es su m�s sincero deseo que esta historia ayude a los ni�os a ser m�s amables con otros que puedan lucir, vestir, hablar o ser diferentes a ellos. Margie naci� en Salida, Colorado. Ha vivido casi toda su vida en Nuevo M�xico, tambi�n conocido como ""La Tierra del Encanto"".Margie worked in early-child development for twenty-five years. She taught Pre-K and worked with many children from kindergarten through twelve years of age.‬One day she was reading to the children and noticed that there was a lot of bullying and making fun of each other. As she thought about how she could stop the bullying and name-calling, a story popped into her head. She told this story to the children, which helped them understand how hurtful the bullying and name-calling was. Margie went home and put the story on paper, and eventually turned it into this book! She hopes it will help children get along with others who might look, dress, talk or be different from themselves. ‪Margie was born in Salida, Colorado. She has lived most of her life in New Mexico, also known as the Land of Enchantment. ‬ Carol is an artist focused primarily on watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting. She also works in charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, and does some clay work. She is most proud to have illustrated The Stinky Little Skunk/El Peque�o Zorrillo Apestoso, as Margie is her mother. Carol is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has spent over sixty years there and loves her Land of Enchantment. She is blessed to also reside and create art part time in the beautiful desert town of Rio Verde, Arizona."
