Overview

The urban heritage areas in Minya vary between: areas where urbanization continued in the era of the Old Kingdom and the Greco-Roman era, such as Kum al-Ahmar in Sharona, Tahana al-Jabal in Minya, and Khashm al-Wadi in Samalut, areas in which urbanization continued in the era of the state.
