OverviewThe one-year experiment provide compelling evidence that the STCR approach significantly enhances the yield attributes and overall yield of hybrid maize. This method not only increases nutrient content and uptake by the crop but also improves the nutrient status of the soil. Furthermore, the application of 100% FYM sustains the biological properties of the soil, including enzyme activity and microbial population. Based on these results, it is clear that employing the STCR approach to target higher yields is optimal for achieving greater productivity while simultaneously enhancing soil fertility and nutrient content. This approach also promises higher economic returns. Therefore, it can be inferred that the adoption of the STCR-based targeted yield model represents a viable nutrient management practice for cultivating nutrient-responsive maize in tropical soil conditions.
