Overview

A simple yet uniquely flavourful recipe book to encourage good health and good food Noted herbalist and natural healer Julian Barker brings the joy back to cooking with a series of delightfully simple yet nutritious recipes, written to enable readers to embark on good living for self and family, through food. Written in methodical and accessible prose which still imparts the author's genuine love and warmth for food eat well, feel well outlines a series of balanced recipes which do not abandon flavour at the expense of nutrients or vice versa! The book provides a fortnight's worth of delicious and nourishing breakfasts and dinners including but not limited to roast meats (such as chicken and lamb), Spanish omelette, risotto and a plethora of salads. Barker also recognises the modern plight of food wastage, so places emphasis on the use of leftovers to their utmost potential. The appendix also provides information relating to the health benefits of each ingredient, as well as information surrounding the broad science of nutrients. eat well, feel well is a small but powerful invitation to consider the impact of the food on the body, and an encouragement to begin cooking and eating healthy, delicious meals.
