OverviewExcerpt from Eadwine's Canterbury Psalter, Vol. 2: d104 and Notes An edition of Eadwine's Canterbury Psalter (the name by which the Manuscript is popularly called in Cambridge) was undertaken about eighteen years ago by Dr. W. Aldis Wright when Librarian of Trinity College but, through pressure of other literary work and increasing College duties, he was obliged, after having copied the English gloss, to put the work on one side for an indefinite period. Calling upon him last summer, he kindly offered to give me his copy as soon as I found an Opportunity of editing. For this copy, for the loan of necessary books, and for other help given during the progress of the work, I owe him my grateful acknowledgments.
