He enlisted in the miliary in 1983 and served 22 years in the United States Army. After his miliary retirement, he became an entrepreneur. Outside of his work, he still finds time to assist in charitable events supporting veteran-related charities. Philip is married to Lisa, and they have a combined six children and eight grandchildren.
