OverviewAs the usual victims of the criminal justice system Blacks in America are disproportionately affected by the inequities of the criminal justice system. I want to make sure that we avoid incarceration, develop viable Black communities, connect and support each other selflessly, rise above our differences, and have better family lives. The money saved from incarceration could rebuild inner cities, invested in Black education within Black communities. Prisons could be transformed into Black classical schools, trade schools, Colleges, businesses, and hospitals. In effect creating viable Black communities serving Blacks. Blacks in inner cities will develop pride, self esteem, academic achievement, wealth, political power, and the can do attitude required to compete globally. Over the decades politicians on both sides of the isle have systemically marginalized Blacks in order to maintain the subtle apartheid system that keeps Whites in power. Race by definition is to compete. As Doctor Claud Anderson pointed in his book PowerNomics the word race first appeared with the emergence of the slave practice in the 16th century. Records indicate the word race was selected because the various European slave-trading nations were in a contest, competing to profit from the mineral and human wealth of Africa. As you will see while reading Edward's real life experience with the Criminal Justice System of the USA, the system is gamed for you to fail lest you take the necessary actions early on to succeed. I hope that this book will contribute to a better life within the Black community free of the limitations imposed on us by the system. Most Black families have had an encounter with the Criminal Justice System and\or a family member incarcerated. This book is the key to avoid the snares of the system, and the way to a life of understanding, selflessness, and happiness.
