Overview

A laugh-out-loud adventure filled with 'quacking' bird puns, vibrant illustrations and hilarious high-stakes delivery-drama! Duck is a home bird. He likes splashing in the bath, eating bread in bed, and organising his sock collection. Yet, there comes a time when even the most unadventurous birds must fly the nest. And what better way to see the world, than as a Delivery Duck for Feather Force?! Soon, with his uniform, parcel and STRICT instructions from Osstrich Bosstrich, Duck is scooting off on his very first adventure . . . what could go possibly wrong? A fun-filled story with messages of perseverance and positivity, perfect for little ones obsessed with the post-people and delivery drivers who knock on their doors! Delivered by author/illustrator Tom Tinn-Disbury.

Author Information

When Tom studied animation at university, he realised that the best part of the process was writing stories and drawing characters and not necessarily making them move! After a brief foray into film editing and broadcast TV, Tom decided to pursue a career in picture book making. Tom uses a mix of pens, pencils, paint, and Photoshop to create his art, and coffee and sandwiches to write and illustrate his stories at his home in Rugby.
