Author Information

Ziska Fields is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management, College of Business and Economics, at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). She is also a certified FourSight and Neethling Brain Instruments (NBI) Practitioner, specialising in developing creative thinking skills in educational and organisational contexts. She holds a BA in Communication Sciences, a Diploma in Management Studies, an MBA (Cum Laude), and a PhD in Business Administration. With 16 years of higher education experience and over a decade in the financial industry, Professor Fields teaches and supervises management and entrepreneurship at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research focuses on theoretical and applied creativity across disciplines, with a particular interest in youth and higher education. She has developed two models to measure creativity in South Africa and serves as an Advisory Board member and Ambassador of World Creativity & Innovation (WCI) in South Africa. Professor Fields has edited nine scholarly books and authored 23 book chapters on creativity, sustainability, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, global collective intelligence, wicked problems, and creativity in higher education. She is committed to empowering people to reach their full potential and believes creativity and entrepreneurial action are key to building a sustainable, inclusive future.
