Mezba Uddin is a Cloud and Infrastructure Specialist and Microsoft MVP (M365 & Security) with extensive experience designing and operating secure, large-scale Microsoft cloud environments in the public sector, particularly in healthcare. As Technical Authority at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, he leads the architecture and governance of a digital estate serving more than 16,000 users, using the Microsoft Security stack and Azure to keep critical services resilient, compliant, and cost-efficient. With a background in Business Administration and a career built through self-directed engineering, Mezba blends commercial awareness with deep technical capability. He has led major FinOps programmes that have reduced cloud and licensing costs while expanding capability, and holds advanced certifications including Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert and Azure Solutions Architect Expert. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), he regularly teaches and mentors engineers, students, and startups on cloud platforms, security architectures, and the practical application of AI in enterprise environments.
