Overview

Dragon Daughter follows the thrilling journey of a young dragon, raised among humans, who embarks on an epic quest to unlock the hidden power within her. She has spent her early life living as a human child, unaware of her true heritage. But as she comes of age, strange abilities awaken inside her - powers tied to the ancient forces of the world. Determined to understand her newfound gifts, Dragon Daughter ventures into the elemental realms where she meets dragons of all types, each with their own secrets, wisdom, and strengths. From the depths of the earth to the sparkling oceans, she learns of the delicate balance that sustains all life on Earth - and the growing threats that now endanger it. But her journey is not just about self-discovery. Only through trust, teamwork, and transformation can they hope to protect the fragile beauty of their world. Author Information

Helen Park has dedicated her career to Alternative Education: teaching, learning, working, and playing with those ""special"" young people who are so perceptive, outspoken, brilliant and powerful that they have difficulty conforming to traditional educational settings. Grounded in Western Oregon, with its forests, rivers, wildlife and wetness, Helen is vehement in the defense of Nature, and hopes that future generations will look back on our time as a turning point in the preservation and conservation of life on our beautiful planet. She currently lives and writes from her one acre mini-farm surrounded by an assortment of animals, gardens and a growing orchard. Chayna Yoshida is an illustrator and visual artist passionate about awakening childlike wonder in all ages through vibrant, whimsical pieces. Originally from Volcano, Hawai'i and now based in Oregon, she draws inspiration from the natural world, weaving its magic into her watercolor and ink illustrations.
