Her writing has been awarded the John C. Laurence Prize and listed three times for the Women's Prize. She is also a lecturer on the Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford. Viola Wang is a graduate of the Children's Book Illustration MA at the Cambridge School of Art. She was born in China, where she studied oil painting before moving to the UK to work as a graphic designer.
