Author Information

"John R. Lee, MD, (1929-2003) was internationally acknowledged as a pioneer and expert in the study and use of the hormone progesterone, and on the subject of hormone replacement therapy for women. Dr. Lee had a distinguished medical career, including graduating from Harvard and the University of Minnesota Medical School. After he retired from a thirty-year family practice in Northern California, he began writing and traveling around the world to speak about his medical findings. Virginia Hopkins, MA, is the editor of the newsletter ""The Virginia Hopkins Health Watch"" and has an extensive website of articles about bioidentical hormones, nutrition, and prescription alternatives. Hopkins has been a writer and editor since she graduated from Yale University in 1976. She has a masters degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Brett Barry graduated from Syracuse University's television, radio, and film program and worked as an associate documentary producer for several years before moving into a career in voiceovers. In 2002, he signed with a voice-over agent in New York and began working in this field full-time. Brett's training includes improvisational acting at Manhattan's HB Studio, study of the Linklater voice techniques, and private coaching with some of the industry's top voice performers. His voice can be heard on over 100 audiobooks. He and his wife Rebecca live in New York and run Silver Hollow Audio, an independent audio production studio."
